With the Euvira Lounge Chair, Jader Almeida continues the tradition of the great Brazilian design masters of the 1960s and 1970s with superior ease; at the same time, he finds his own individual and contemporary expression of an elegant lounge chair. The concisely shaped forms, finely orchestrated lines and transitions between thickening and tapering materials lend the chair a solid yet elegant appearance. The cord-covered surfaces create a graphic play of lines, providing the chair with both transparency and high seating comfort. In dark stained oak with black cord, the Euvira Lounge Chair most clearly refers to the origins of its designer. In light oak with hemp-coloured cord cover, it almost looks like a Scandinavian furniture classic.
