The M/Y SOJO, built by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 1984, reflects ΙPYD’S original vision to create a yacht that harmoniously combines luxury, elegance, and comfort. The result is a design that feels both modern and timeless, with a subtle touch of classic charm. By preserving key original elements, the interior now complements the yacht’s classic exterior lines while embracing a contemporary aesthetic.
Every detail played a role, from the selection of materials and textures to the final finishing touches. All loose furniture pieces come from Italian brands represented by DELOUDIS, bringing a strong design identity and understated refinement. Light was a central element of the concept: materials were chosen to enhance brightness and a sense of openness, while woods and leathers add warmth and depth.
Across the two salons, contrasting tones and textures create distinct atmospheres while maintaining a sense of continuity, a philosophy that naturally extends to the cabins. On the sundeck, spacious lounging areas, a large bar, and a Jacuzzi coexist harmoniously with a touch-and-go helipad, all designed to invite relaxation and the enjoyment of life at sea.
The design was carried out by IPYD with Yannis Agrotis as project manager.
