Cassina
Treflo is a collection of tables born from Ronan Bouroullec’s first solo project for Cassina. The entire series revolves around the shape of the base, a sculptural element that recalls the trefoil or infinity symbol. The structure is combined with corrugated glass tops, available with a retro lacquered or glossy or matt lacquered finish, creating a marked but measured visual balance.
The base, in rigid polyurethane, integrates a bio-based component, contributing to a more conscious production vision. The top, in extra-clear glass, undergoes thermal processing that modifies its surface: placed on a plate with a specific texture, the glass is heated until it softens and takes on the desired conformation. The result is a vibrant surface with a three-dimensional visual effect.
The design allows for a wide variety of configurations: Treflo is designed to adapt to different contexts, both in terms of size and use. The coherence between colours and finishes reinforces the formal identity of the table, making it suitable for domestic spaces or collective settings. Each element is modulated to offer defined proportions, without superfluous decorative concessions.
